Birth Anniversary of Dr. Bhupen Hazarika

 Celebration on Dr. Bhupen Hazarika 100th Birth Anniversary

The vidyalaya proudly celebrated the 100th Birth Anniversary of Dr. Bhupen Hazarika (1926–2011), the legendary music maestro, lyricist, filmmaker, and cultural icon of Assam and India. Known as the "Bard of Brahmaputra".

On this occasion, students and teachers gathered in morning assembly to pay homage to his remarkable contribution to Indian art and culture. During the library period, a brief discussion on his life, achievement, contribution were discussed. A quiz competition was held in various section of the class to pay respect to the personality.

Celebration of Teacher's Day

Celebration of Teacher's Day in PM Shri KV Nagaon 

Shri Apurba Das, Principal 
The Teachers’ Day celebration at PM Shri KV Nagaon School was held on 4th September with great enthusiasm and respect. The day began with a special assembly,  where role playing was being done by the teachers and vice versa. The school principal Shri Apurba Das delivered speeches on the life and contribution of Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan and share gratitude to all the teachers. Cultural programs, including songs, dances, musical chairs, whisper games were played by the teachers.

A unique highlight of the day was the Student-Teacher Role Play, where senior students took classes to express their gratitude. Teachers were felicitated with traditional assamese gamucha and tokens of appreciation, acknowledging their dedication and hard work in shaping the future of students.

 Celebration of National Nutrition Week in the School Library


Our school library celebrated National Nutrition Week (1st–7th September) with the aim of spreading awareness about the importance of a balanced diet and healthy eating habits.
The library organized several activities such as interaction and discussion on food and health, importance of balanced diet, nutrition and results of malnutrition, an interactive quiz on nutrition, poster making challenge, slogan preparation on the events where students understand about making right food choices to make their body healthy and fit.

Every year, India celebrates National Nutrition Week from 1st to 7th September to spread awareness about the importance of balanced nutrition and healthy eating habits. The program is organized by the Ministry of Women & Child Development and aims to educate people about making the right food choices for a healthy body and mind.

The celebration of National Nutrition Week began in 1982 under the guidance of the Food and Nutrition Board of India.
