 Celebration of Birth Anniversary of Munshi Premchand

On the occasion of the birth anniversary of Munshi Premchand (31 July 1880 – 8 October 1936), one of India’s most celebrated writers of Hindi and Urdu literature, our library session was dedicated to honoring his life, legacy, and literary contributions.

The session began with a brief introduction to Premchand’s life, highlighting his role in shaping modern Indian literature. A special reading of selected excerpts from his notable works such as "Godaan," "Namak Ka Daroga," and "Kafan" was held.

Students participated enthusiastically in recitations, quiz rounds based on one of his stories, reflecting the timeless relevance of his work. A dedicated display of his books was arranged in the library to encourage reading and deeper exploration of his literature.

The session served as a meaningful tribute to Munshi Premchand, inspiring students to appreciate the power of storytelling in bringing about social change.
